there are a couple thousand sitting in a secret spot that we saw today, and a couple more thousand sitting in another secret spot we have. but reports in one area are that there are 42 thousand honkers sitting at a refuge near by. hope this helped. they will be down soon cause there running out of water to sit on. its all about froze up...

The only ones that I saw with any numbers are the ones I posted the other day. I did see a flock of about 100 last night at my sons hockey practice. Not too many around anymore it was 17 below last night and only 8 degrees today.

i just looked again and there are 118 thousand geese still hear. and that doesnt include little pot holes where there are thousands sitting to.

there all yourway from here man, this coldsnap sent about 7-14 thousand out of this area.

I bet they make it down there on Feb. 1st, it didnt get cold here until a week after season.

plenty of birds still here i dont think theyll leave unless we get more snow and colder temps i wish we could still hunt i am starting to get bored,
i am ready to hit the walleyes hard this spring might go on sunday mourning for the hell of it.

i think im in the wrong spot found about 3 hundred yesrerday on a lake went this mornin and didnt see a bird,,,,,, nota 1 I QUIT!

here in MN i haven't seen much except for maybe 100 geese and 500 ducks, other than that...nothing

yea im looking at the dnr website counts. but i have seen over 4 thousand with my own eyes though.
