Calling contest?

what does it take to be in a calling contest? I've watched the Foiles DVD on calling gesse and have everything down but the moan. but how do you get into callin contest. i would like to give it a try sometime

if you live in Illinois you should go to waterfowl weekend that will give you a good idea what the comps are all about. :D hope to see ya there

yeah i would definately watch a comp, long before you ever think about entering one, i have almost every sound down except for that fast as hell doublecluck that jeff does, i can double cluck fine, but whatever it is that he does on the video is beyond my skill, most of the people that end up in the third round of comps, are seriously sick on a goose call, its a whole nother world, we are talking double spits, push moans, double spit train......i mean WTF....lol

i was going to go that last year but i think i had some trap shooting thing going on or a fishing tourny or somthin i want to go this year no matter what.

wheres it at in Burlington? I had a BFL regional just down river from there this fall.

west burlington at the howard johnson hotel,,was the grand orleans hotel,,its a fun time but its one of the toughest contests there is.
