Not exactly a big hike, I would glady $100 for a license if they would put it towards a good conservation cause.

screw that I pay around $50 now and Im a resident, thats enough. When I hunted deer that was another $75. Plus turkey screw them. None of this money goes towards wildlife, just blagos pocket. Quinn is still payin for that seat.

Who's we? I live in Illinois and I didn't know it was comin

Compared to the rest of the "essentials" that we all have, the cost of licenses and tags are pretty minimal:)

This is the start, there gonna raise it just like cigarettes. They'll make it to expensive to hunt. You know hes trying to make the foid card 150 a year too. That bill was soppose to pass by jan 1st or it gets thrown out.

I am with ya there Bud. If the money is going to go to IDNR then I am fine with it. One of the public places that I hunt has permanent blinds on it. Just with the rise in the cost of treated lumber the cost for upkeep on the blinds every year is going to be alot more and that is just one small part of all the materials that are used to keep it up (i.e. grain, fuel, pumps, and so on). So I guess what I am saying i with the rise of the Federal Waterfowl stamp and state costs I MAY be out about 35 dollars more next year. Not very much in my book.

If u are a true hunter you won't let something like this get in the way i live In illinois to and havent herd a thing about this anyway, 25 dollars to shoot a deer is not that bad compared to what you will pay at the store for meat.

I don't mind paying a little extra. My only issue is will it go to the rite place and not in some politition's pocket.
