New Sound

I found out sat that I could call snows with my SMH. We shot 7 snows , with no deks and no call . But if you hit the SMH hard and with a lot of back pressure you can get a snow goose call from it. They did not decoy but came close enough to look. 7 looked and none left . :D :D :D

Interesting, I think I will still pick up a Tundra Saver though. You need to make a sound file of it for us to all hear. I would like to try myself.

ive got a friend who can do that on one of his calls too. not sure what hes got but i know its not foiles cause im tryin to convert him :D hes comin to waterfowl weekend 06 with me so maybe thatll do the trick

yea, I've done that before too....it works in a pinch....

Mmmm. I'll have to try that with my SMH. I think Im gonna buy just the Tundra Saver Insert at the Iowa State Calling Competition from Foiles. The TS and the SMH seem to have the esact mouthpiece. I put my buddy's TS insert into my SMH mouthpiece and it sounded the same as his whole TS setup. I never hunt snows and honkers at the same time anyway
