competiton inserts

Does a guy really need the competiton insert fot the smh if competing,I mean I know thats what it is for but will it hurt me not to have one?

A lot of guys call in contests with out one, but if you do decide to go with one, buy it plenty early, cause you will have to fet used to it, takes more air than your used to on a regular SMH.

no you dont have to have ole' broke in guts to compete... when i first started in contest my guts sure werent broke in yet.... you have got to start somewhere,,, when guys win there first contest, i doubt that there guts are broke in very much.... just a little pointer, when tuning your call for contests , leave it a little harder to blow... when you get on stage your adreneline is pumping a lot... you sure dont want to stick it, and this will make you more powerful... sean~~
