Flooded Corn

Hi there.
Wondering if anybody has experience flooding corn, and building the actually water control structures etc... I want to build a couple at my ranch in North Dakota.

I have watched the Fallin Skies videos and learned alot... but am wondering what I need to do to build a flooded corn field from the ground up.
