im just wondering if you guys have any suggestions on a decent short reed call for a beginner. im just starting to use a short reed. Are they pretty easy to get good at if you practice a bit each day???

Also.... duck call??? I cant get the sound on my call like they get on the Foiles soundfile... how do they get that raspy quak??

aaah go with the meat grinder its fairly cheap and sounds like an acrylic,,now for yur duck call use the air directly from yur throat instead of yur lungs, make like a growling sound,,yur throat should move when ya do it right!!

yea i do all of those things.. Maybe its there calls that make the difference on the sound because im blowing a ploy carb right now. Would the legend be a good call to get? I will get Calling ducks 2.0 too

You should come to swan lake in Mn. Man o man my uncle owns 1000's of acres around there . lots of ducks and geese. Its the biggest prairie pothole in the U.S.
