Decoy size

Whats the general opinion on putting different size decoys in your spread for ducks ? Will it matter if I mix life size,magnums and super mags all together ?

not really we allways mix ours up, gives the look of full mature and juvenile birds. plus the super mags make it easier for them higher birds to see.

i agree, we do the same with geese, i got a half dozen FFD lesser GHG's and 18 bigfoots, 5 dozen shells, 5 dozen silohuettes and 50 rags, really makes for a good spread

For sure mix those dekes and give the aperrance of different size and age of birds. I mix g and h shells and those massive GHG fullbody mallards. Works awsome it is a great idea...

Derek and I are fixin' on buying a few dozen GHG pro-grade lessers. We don't get a whole lot of lessers here, but our spread is going to look different than everyone elses. That's what we're going for. We hunt pressured birds, since we're right in the city. Them city boys def. can't call em and kill em like we can though. :wink:
