Our season ends in Missouri on Sunday. I hunted last Wednesday, and had accepted the fact that it would be my last hunt. I've pulled on the stubble off my blinds, and put the decoy trailer into the shed. I must admit I had a couple days of "hunters remorse" over prospect of season ending, but had finally gotten back to some degree of normalcy. During the night last night my hunting partner starts texting me about getting one more hunt in on Sunday. He sent 3-4 text messages. I noticed them this morning. My initial response was that my stuff has already been put away, and it would be a hassle to get ready for a quick hunt. Unfortunately once I started thinking about it . . . I've now come to the realization that it must be done! The wife and kids really don't need me to go out for lunch, shopping, and getting the daughter sized for her High School class ring. I can surely make it up to them later right? That's it, decision made, Sorry guys, you will have to endure one more post tommorrow . . . because I'm off to prep the "Goose Caboose" for one more outing! Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaa
