Not seeing to many guys with the Cackler listed. Is this call the one that is really quick? What do you guys think of it? And, what situations would you use it in? I have a Meat Cutter, SMH and HPH and was curious if it is something that was useful in my line-up.
Thanks for any input.

Definitely get the cackler. I bought for our trips to NoDak because we don't get many lessers around here but it was deadly during early season. You can get nasty quick on that thing too. This weekend is it for us and the geese have been wanting to hear a lot of noise so it's probably goin to make an appearance. I think its the most underated call because you can get a lot lower on the call than most people think.

I have a cackler call, I will never sell it either. It's fast real fast. I tuned mine just a hair deeper and it sounds awsome. On a hunt last fall we were hunting a field that had ducks and not many geese. The field across the road is were the geese were wanting to go to.
So a long story short I blew the cackler, My best friend blew the meatcutter , and another friend blew the SMH. Honestly before we started calling those geese had thier landing gear down ready to land in the field across the road. The 3 of us started to call, myself going right to town on the cackler and next thing you know over 400 geese at once picked back up and was bee lining it right for us. I personally like that cackler, works awsome. :) :) :) :)

So it is basically a diffrent sounding call that mixes in good to give you a better group sound.

It definitely makes a great group sound but I like it because of range of the call.

The cackler gives you great pitch, and is very fast. I catch myself using this call all the time. It's almost like when you hear a loud noise, it grabs you and you LOOK, just to see what it is. Well a goose is just like us , it wants to investigate. So if I were you I would check it out. It's a must have. Dale
