So, I wasnt planning on posting any pics till after the season was over, but I thought I would share a couple I managed to snap today of the yuppie anti and her pooch standing in our decoys.

The most disappointing part of the matter was not the incoming flocks flaring off of this lunatic, but the way the police officer catered to the lady as I am sure he does to all of the sprouting condo owners all over this state. Even though we were completely legal while she was tresspassing on private ground and harrassing hunters, all he had to say to us was "Could ya hunt some where else?" If someone doesnt stand up for hunter rights around here, Im sure the few shoots I get to enjoy will be folk lore in a few years.

man that really sucks but i guess crap like thats gonna happen more often than we like. I am just glad it doesnt happen to a friend of mine...i think they would have been burried in his woods of they did that to him. What bites my ass about this is they want to save the animals and all that but are they members of conservation groups such as DU and Delta which all in all their goals are to preserve and conserve. Doubt it. I know i certainly wouldnt go out in a field to protest when there are a bunch of guys with guns.

first of all I would have kicked her ass. then I would have called dispatch and asked for another officer cause this one wasnt doing his job. Then I would have got pics of her face, and showing her on the land (which it looks like you did) and I would show it to the courts that she was trespassing. that just ticks me off. I draw the line when they stand in your decoys. There is actually a girl at school I am good friends with, I wouldnt say she is an activist but she doesnt like the fact that I kill animals I really dont know how we are friends. Believe it or not she is also Charles Schultz's granddaughter, if you dont know who that is he created the peanuts comic. You know charlie brown and snoopy.

This is what makes me extremely proud of Indiana's hunter harassment laws. One call to the C.O. and this lady would be in cuffs. Our state's conservation officers are really stepping up and enforcing the law and protecting our hunters. I definitely have to commend you for keeping your cool. I know my anger would have gotten the best of me.

Can someone say CRIMINAL TRESPASS? All you would of had to do was go to the landowner and had criminal trespass charges brought up on her. She doesnt have permission to be on the property! She would of got the ACE OF SPADES AND THE NINE OF CLUBS! if I would of been around. What an idiot of an officer asking you to hunt somewhere else. You should of shown him your license and said I paid all the fees I will hunt here if I feel like it and she needs to get out of the field.
That just pisses me off, I cant stand people like that, they are so closed minded they wont even listen to your side of the story because there is only on side, THEIRs!
man those pictures make me enraged    I have to commend you big time for keeping your cool....but that B$tch should've gotten a ticket for trespassing.....

Fortunately, we know the laws and we know our rights. We contacted the game warden right in front of the old townie after he made the brilliant statement "If you guys shoot a bird and it lands within 500 feet of a house, then thats concidered hunting within 500 feet of that house". Of course all we got was an answering machine.
This morning I scouted our fields and in that same field there were about 250 geese just wondering why I wasnt shooting them. So for saturdays hunt we will have pre-notified the warden and hopefully he or she will be more effective than the cop.
OH AND A LIL P.S.S.S.S.S---THAT WOULDA NEVER HAPPENED IN DA GLADES! :)

i think your game warden needs a wake up call!!!! if you hunting in the allowed (safe zone) you kill a bird and he lands out side of the safe zone, tell me how you can make that bird land where you want it to........impossible correct??? so IE: you are not hunting out side the safe zone because a bird lands there...correct. id go above his head to the next person in charge. if you get the same answer, then when you kill the bird and it lands outside the zone leave it there.......i know unethical....but this makes the point. if he gets involed then ask him what are you suppost to do ...violate the law by retreiving the bird or leaving it lay there hence not violating, but being unethical and violating the wanton and waste law.........see what kinda answer you get then.

Actually, leaving it lay in that situation would probably still violate a wanton waste law through wildlife and parks.
Law states you have to make an effort to retrieve your game. And, you can't hunt without a gun. What you would have to do is lay the gun down on the property you were hunting, and then walk in, direct path to the game, pick it up and come back.
Bottom line, It's hunter harassment. Do the best thing and invite the C/O on your hunt. Put him on some easy geese and get on his good side. That way, when she interrupts again it interferes with his hunt as well only making him madder!

yea the north east is like that, in one of the creeks i hunt when it freezez over we keep ahole open and still hunt but some animal rights hippies got on our case and one day about 4 of them just stood on the ice around our hole. but thats the only thing you can do un load your gun and sit tight if you start getting wild it will only hurt you. and just so every one understands up here on the coastal states the government cares alot mor about the snooty rich folk then hunters the only thing you can do is sit there :x
