Brant Hunt Yesterday

Got to Go out and shoot my first Brant on Tuesday, had an awesome time the birds werked great, and spent most of the morning wading around on a sand bar......couldnt ask for a better day...heres some pics from the day....

Sweet, I got my first brants this season too.....Don't get them around here so i was happy to get a few in VA.

I have never seen a live brant(or dead) wanna kill one dont look bigger then a mallard

They are a little bigger than a mallard, little smaller than a snow, bout the size of a nice Ross

Sea geese are awesome looking. We have Black brants around here. Still have yet to hunt them but I want to. Got an open invite for next season. Congrats

yeah it was cool had 1dzn canadian floaters out and a dzn oversize shells on the sand bar, they came right in...

yeah it was awesome prolly the last hunt of the year....unless i pay to go slaughter some snows..

Well Justin it seems your season truly "took off". Congrats on the Brant, that looks like an awesome hunt; also congrats on a good year chasin' birds. For a "newbie" your cuttin' your teeth the right way brother, grindin out birdsand runnin' hard right till' the end of season. Hat's off to ya' bro...

Yeah well you will have to shoot over here next season...its public water, hunt where you want .....
