Bow Junky Converted...New Here

Been lurking for a while...thought I would say Hi...great site...As you can tell from my handle I have always been a die hard Bowhunter...pidled with waterfowl for a while but became a crazed lunatic this year after getting into some great action...

Since I am here Ill ask a question...Anybody know if there is anything I could plant in or around my pond during the off season to benfit the ducks? The pond is on the Eastern Shore of Md. and is only about an acre in size. I have seen and killed a few ducks and geese there but there seems to be no draw for them.

you could plant some wild rice in the pond. but what is growing around it? if you have enough space plant a small area of corn, soy or rye around the pond

welcome from another diehard archer, when i am not chaseing waterfowl i am normaly shooting my bows or lookin for deer and turkeys to hunt also.

Welcome. I like to see more bow hunters out there. I to am a diehard bow hunter. Maybe spend to much time chasing Elk, Deer, and Bears this year, but the laster part of the season I have done very well on the ducks.
