How did your Kansas Trip turn out?

well it could have been better, ot a few geese and saturday and left the great bend area due to the weather wnet up by junction city for night and got few mallards sun morn and hit the rode, i did not want to get stuck down there due to the weather, but next year i am bringing everything down there and i will get a season licenseso i can come down there a couple of times, i really like hunting in kansas... i am looking into new trailers now so i can have enough room for everything,,,,we will have to hook up next year for sure,,,,,,,,all in all i had a good time

sometimes it's all about the journey, and not the destination. Sorry it worked out like that. Sorry you had to be here when we got one of the 2 storms we have had all winter. Chalk it up to dumb luck!

oh it was still worth it, that's why it's hunting and not killing, i still had a blast, there is nothing like a road trip, it's probably pretty nice there now, i am still going next year a couple of times

I wasn't going to tell you that after we got 3 inches of snow last weekend It got just warm enough to melt all the snow (today will be the end of it) It is supposed to freeze tomorrow! High of 31 with 20 something on Sunday I think.

The snow and cold pushed the birds together and locked up all the farm ponds. And now that it's frozen wet fields it means I'm driving in! The birds are STACKED up right now.

Should make for a great weekend. Sorry you missed it by a week.

All that snow we got really threw our goose hunting plans for a loop. All the switched from winter wheat to milo and corn, and they sat all day long. But we still pounded the ducks.
