Well, she finally got her shot's up to date enough that i felt comfortable getting her out so i took her to the lake to see how she'd take to the water.........she ran in before i even got to the edge. =] So, after a little splashing around and chasing some carp i busted out the bumper and went to work. I was having to toss them pretty damn far to get the pic's becasue she was out there and back so fast the pic's were weak.

She's only 15 weeks now. But, she has a great drive and is smart as a whip. She's a little testing at times, but we've worked that out. She's already doing 3 handed casting in the yard with minimal issues. Here are some pic's.

Thanks. I've been trying to get her out more and socialize her. I'm still working on getting her focused. Whenever we go to a new area she just want's to run around and smell everything and it's a b!t*h to get her to pay attention to any commands. But, we're getting there.

A rookie question. Are you affraid that the check cord that you have on the dog will tangle in the dogs legs and hinder the dog from swimming or drown? I was always told to even tighten a collar so the legs of the dog wont catch it while its swimming. One bad experience for a young dog could detour it from doing it again.

Very cool freefall! And congrats on the progress. I'm going to agree with Goosed though, gotta worry with that check cord hanging, floating or not...

I usually take it off now. I was just doing short retireves (no more than 10') and wanted to use it to get her to come back to me. After that i started taking it off of her. It's a pain in the @$$. Good call though.

Exciting stuff. Nice pics.

Yeah, lose the check cord for water training.
