I don't know of anyone in Mn. that can help ya right now..but i'll tell ya what you can do. Travel to any huntin' shows that the Strait Meat Pro-Staff will be at and you can definately learn something from one of these fellas. Otherwise...buy the Strait Meat Callin' Sounds CD's...they feature Jeff guiding you through the use of your call on a step by step basis. Hope this helps!

I and my brother as well as the Grinder are MN, but I am guessing my brother and I are probably a ways away from where you are....but what specifically do you need help with.....tuning, sounds, ....be alittle more specific and we boys from MN wil try and help you out as much as I can.

What Philly and myself are looking for is help with sounds, tones, making sure we are doing things right.

You guys gotta get out and buy the Foiles hunting videos, like I said, the my favorites are Strait Meat the Video, The Grind, One Over the Limit, as well as complimenting them all are Jeff's first instructional, Callin' the SM Way....it is from a few years ago, but he does a nice job explaining the sounds, tones, etc.

Watch em, pick out the sounds you like and try and make them on your call....but first watch an instructional, it will make things easier when you start watching the videos......where you guys from by the way???

Yeah...I knew you boys were from MN but who can hardly find time to help on a face to face level w/ the way work is now adays! It's freakin' nuts down here. I'm hopin' just to be able to hunt snows w/ cole on Sat.! You and Grinder should be able to hook this guy up :)!

As far as getting together, not sure how that would work, you city boy are about 4 hours from me up here in Canada as Grinder calls it....and I know the Grinder works long days a diesel mechanic, up at 4:30 and home at 5....thats a long day brother.

Unless you can get to a show where we will be at, it might be pretty tough to get a face to face.....my best advice is for now, buy Jeff's instructional, get going on that deal and then start watching his videos....wear em' out brother.....and if you some advice....we'll be around on here.

Yeah, there are a lot of locals here. Hard to get out and do that, it's dark when I get off work, and the weekends are all messed up.

im not sure if you want to do this but you can record some of your calling on your computer and email it to some one and they could tell you what you need to do diffrent.
