Another 5-Man Limit

We're startin' to rock them. It's about time. Before this streak, I went three weeks w/o even raising the gun.

Yesterday we needed snow covers; today, the snow was melted immediately following the decoy set up.

Ducks are still very cool, but I'm starting to understand the whole goose-addiction thing. I used to think they were "rats-with-wings".

Mostly flight birds. We really had to work for these; they weren't finshing for us. We were using flight decoys though. I've been hearing that they don't work as well late in the season. The birds allegedly hover out in front of the spread, never to see the flight decoys land and subsequently flair off. An interesting theory. Pretty much what was happening.

We'll be hitting it hard Sunday through Wedsnday. More to follow.

Decoys that look like they're about to land. "Goose Magnates", "Mojo Landers", etc..

I have not used one of goose magnets for years. I have like 8 of them.

Never worked well for me.

I've had bad juju with those magnets as well. Today my buddies hit the same field w/o the magnets and they had a 4-man limit 30 minutes after set up.
