E-Collars

I'm in the process of looking for an e-collar for my black lab and was wondering what everybody used and what they like about it. I duck hunt on a lake just off the Illinois river and field hunt for geese.

DT H2O 1820. vibration feature is cool. everything is waterproof and the transmitter floats. Range is real good. No problems in 4 years!

I have the Dogtra 1900....Waterproof everything...I'd buy a dogtra or Tri-tronics...Have heard of a lot of issues with the others...

Id go with Tri-tronics..been using their collars for quiet some time now and no problems..just got the newer sport series model which i like better b/c the controler is smaller and doesnt get in the way as much. Dogtra is also a nice brand.

I have a Tri-tronics and like it real well...customer service is real good also....you just have to watch the belt clip, my transmitter has fallen off a couple times because of getting in a hurry

I cant say enough good things about Tri Tronics......I've used a few others over the years....Tri Tronics is only thing that lasts day in and day out in my experience....and as someone already said...their customer service is second to none....you have any problems...they replace it with new no questions asked....but I havent needed anything anyway...lol I still have one of my older collars thats over 10 years old and it still works like a charm....their constantly uping the anny in the industry with new designs and features............
