It's gotta be the beard man.... I've heard sorry the field is leased already or no it's hunted by my kids, heck I can smell a NO a mile away. I really can't complain though , 'cause I lease to farms, just amazes me how some folks can come up with the hook ups! Good luck for the end of season.

Lease a field out here and see how quick these weekend warriors burn your house down. Most, and by most, I mean 99.9 percent of goose hunters are relying on the knock on the door. And with the yuppies chewing up all farm ground with the gazillion housing developments going up, good luck finding a field with a 500 foot radius. But I still managed to pull some good hunts off.
psssst! shhh be real quiet! Early in January I got to drive down by the Cape near Rhode Island and took part in 30 honk a day hunts. Pics you ask? If I would have whispered the word "camera" this guy would have smashed what teeth I have left rattling in my head. They keep these fields not by bragging I guess.
Talkin Low Key. on the D----------------------L.

:o
ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies...
Md is a bit different, goose hunting here was a way of life for so many for so long, that farmers cashed in and to get a decent farm for a year I've heard of lease rates up well over ten grand. If your a club like me and my friends/ family, you save your money and pray the farmer doesn't raise the lease or a friggin' guide wants your farm and offers the farmer twice or even triple what your payin'.
