SMM for comps

i got a SMM and used to have a SS (traded for MVP) but i still can blow the SMM 100 times better than the MVP and SS i had, what makes the ss or mvp style call better for comps? because they are louder and take more air? how many guys are still using the smm for comps?

Either call will get it done on the stage....the SS or the SMM. The biggest difference I can tell between the SMM and the SS is the volume. The SS has more volume and maybe a bit more top end. Regardless, the SMM will get it done on the stage....tweak the tuning and have it man!!!!

The Strait street has a little bit bigger bore giving it a little more volume. I used to like my SMM more than a SS but now prefer the SS to any other call I own I actually have three of them now and love them all. Just my .02 worth
