Guts in meatgrinder?

My guts in my meat grinder are loose, once I get it tuned, just by taking the barrel off, the guts move and the call becomes untuned. Could these be from the poly swelling from heat or cold?

this has come up before, use either some teflon tape or a small peice of scotch tape on the guts to make a tighter fit. also check if the insert is cracked. because its a poly call check on the seam line for cracks,
