Just watched a Benelli special on OLN. They were hunting Canadians in western Canada in Sept. The show should have been called Sky Scraping. They would shoot these birds at least 50 yards up. None were brought in. Is this normal for Canada?

I realize TV gives us an unrealistic view of distance, but these birds were way up. They were using decoys and it looked like the bird's first pass. There were three hunters and the most they would take from a group of 10-15 might be three. Granted some of the shots look pretty good, but everything that I have heard says this is a NO NO!!!! They were only harvasting a few birds from each group. The

Thats why when birds reach us . They have been shot at so many times they realy do not want to come to deks. I do not shoot or let my partys shoot at birds at more than 30 yds no discussion !!!!! [ unless they are crips going away ] And this helps us work more birds after the birds has been around for a few weeks, and feel comfortable in the area.[If that makes sense]
