New family member and a few kill pics

I meant new Foiles call when I said family member. Got the chartruse Showtime in the mail today. Got my SMH's worn in guts stuck in it and tuned to perfection. Gonna get rough with it in the next few weeks.

Also, my uncle, dad, and I managed to smack 5 honks on Friday in Illinios. 1 short. 3 came in and none left and then we dropped 2 out of a higher flock that flew over. I think my uncle wiffed on them. :shock:

Nice job. Five of us took 31 (1 bonus snow goose) in 3 days in the IL Central Zone. Yesterday we gave a full day and only took 2. Still saw a lot though, just couldn't get them to finish. Tomorrow is the last day and we'll be out from 1st light to sunset, if neccessary.

Hunting buddy- Yea 2 of them were really big ganders, especially the one I'm holding. Poked him on the way out. My uncle took 3 on his end where only he could shoot. He dumped 2 of them and I twisted and turned out of my blind and somehow rolled the last one heading out the back.

mlgorcki- That's putting the smack on 'em!! Good job :D Are you hunting 5 layout blinds? It seems like they catch onto them later in the season. Are you hunting relatively unpressured geese?

Yes, we are using layout blinds. During Thursday and Friday the birds were relatively unpressured. That changed because they weren't finishing yesterday and we couldn't understand why. It must be your late-season blind theory.

SWEEEEEEEET guys, i so want a showtime, i guess im going to have to settle for blue and cleat since they dont offer it in all Ivory....im gonna have to change my whole lanyard lol....blue and clear SMM, blue and Clear SMH lol...the list goes on and on...

Im sure you can get it in Ivory, but if I would invest in decoys first. Especially if you aren't going to comps with it.
