NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS.................the 03-04's had some issuse thats all..............id shoot myself in the head before id ever own a gm again! tell ya what ive been a mechanic over 20 yrs. the last GOOD GM i owned was my 87 GMC 4X4 i bought new.........tired of workin on all the GM's. been blue oval ever since

barry you kidding. I see way more gm suv's then ford and I have seen a lot of people trading in their blue ovals for a bow tie truck. Even though it is a blue oval I gotta hand it to both trucks they look AWESOME :lol: :lol: . But if it makes you feel any better I would rather be strokin then cummin. aggh I hate dodges.

I am not dissing the ford, Ford makes a great truck. I will diss dodge though I have to drive a pos 93 caravan that almost has a 100,000 miles on it and the tranny is pretty much shot. Sometimes I have to wait at least 5-10 mins before it will go into reverse or drive. I hate it. I want an 04 chevy silverado 1500 extended cab, you know just something for college and so I can carry all my hunting stuff to wyoming next year. :lol: :lol:

10-4 any truck can have problems, i grew up on gm's eventhough my grandfather owned a ford dealership in south dakota and my father is a ford man there also. my blue ovals pushin 310.000 miles for an 1988. yeah i had to put some money into it. but its never let me down, what do you expect for a truck 19 yrs old....................

I have to agree, anyone of the big 3 can put out a lemmon or two. But I amke my living selling FORDS. Can't believe he is having trouble with the 05 or 06. Can't wait for the new 2008's to get here. New 6.4 dual turbo diesel!!! I have seen pictures of the new truck, just haven't got one on the lot yet.

Have to agree as well any could make a lemon, my old man had an 03 ford was in the shop 18 times in a year ford finally bought it back from him and he still went and bought another ford. he is a serious ford man.
