Below is a breakdown of all contests. We are hosting the Delaware State Duck Calling Championship this year. I will have a list of vendors once I get confirmation of who is coming. Delaware Bay Open Duck Calling Championship, Open to All Callers. Comp Style. $40 entry fee. 3 Rounds. 90 second routines. Prize Structure: 1st-50% payout, 2nd-30% payout, 3rd-20% payout. plaques only no prizes
Delaware Bay Open Novice Duck Calling Contest, Open to all callers who have NEVER won an Adult Competition Style Duck Calling Contest. 3 Rounds. 90 seconds routines. Plaques and prizes 1st thru 3rd .$25 entry fee.
The Delaware State Duck Calling Championship. A contest that is sanctioned by and a qualifier for the World's Duck Calling Championship. Delaware State Duck Calling Championship, Open to Delaware residents who will be 17 years old by the hour of the start of the World’s Duck Calling Championship on November 27, 2010. All participants must bring proof of residency and agree to represent the State of Delaware at the World’s Championship in 2010, should they win. Should the winner fail to represent the contest and not have an approved reason as per the World’s Championship Rules Committee, the contestant agrees to return all money awarded to the contest organizer, so that the 2nd place winner can represent the contest at the “Worlds”; in addition, they will be ineligible to compete in the Delaware State Duck Calling Championship for a period of 3 years. 3 Rounds. 90 second routines. Comp. Style. $40 entry fee. 1st Place pays $500. 2nd and 3rd get plaques and prizes only .
Delaware State Junior Open Duck Calling Championship, Open to all callers under the age of 17. 3 Rounds. 90 second routines. Stuttgart rules apply.Plaques for 1st thru 3rd. $15 entry fee.
Delaware State Open Team Meat Duck Calling Championship, This is a Mallard Duck Calling Contest, Open to All, $40 per 2 Man Team. Contest will be judged on the best team callers working ducks in from medium range, say 250 yards or so. In other words, leave the ringing hail calls alone and make the high end loud greeters… 1st Place takes 70% of the entry fees, 2nd Place takes 20%, and the rest goes to plaques. No limit on the number of teams a caller can call on. 90 second routines. 3 rounds.
