I would like to get a new call and i've heard that both the dead meat mallard and strait meat mallard are good choices, but i can't decide which one is best. If you guys could give me some opinions on the subject i would appreciate it. And i want to figure out what color chartreuse pearl is, i think its that really bright green/yellow color.

If anyone here hunts or knows any good clubs or public places in the dallas/forth worth area could you give me some ideas. My family and i just moved here and niether my dad or mom hunt, so im a little lost on places to find a good spot or clubs.
thanks

SMM OR DMM
smm would suit u if ur hunting an area where u mayb on the high end of calling 2 get birds attention like open water or some fields that seem to never end or high winds / rainy days .... also has a good medium -low but not as good in the medium-low as the DMM...in my opinion and the way my DMM is tunned this is where it excels the most , the dmm dont have the high of the smm but but is real close except it has the capabilities to get u a real clean low ...

if ur gonna b hunting where u need the volume the majority of the time go with the smm or s. street or mean street , if ur gonna b hunting a little of every type of water/fields u'll b happy with the dmm ...... if u need a call in the soft -low-medium only then a timber rattler or strait timber would b great for u .{my go-to calls}

Alright thanks. I think i'll end up going with the smm, cause theres not a lot of closed timber around here. Its pretty much all open around here.

but still if any of you guys know if the chartreuse color is that bright green/yellow color and if anyone knows any good spots or clubs in the dallas/forth worth, texas area i would appreciate it. I just moved here and im a little lost on where to hunt around here. So if you could help me out i would really appreciate it.

Both the DMM and the SMM are excellent calls and versatiles. The DMM tends to be a litle bit lower than the SMM.

Chatreuse pearl is very bright color. The picture below shows 3 Cole's Carnage Collector, the middle one is Chartreuse pearl

Here is another version of the Chartruse not the chartruse pearl. Can't go wrong with the DMM. best sounding call out there.

Alright thanks you guys. I've heard that the dmm is the work horse of all calls, but the smm is louder and i need that. Out here in texas where i am is pretty much all open and i need to reach out to those far birds. I really like both of those chartreuse colors. I think im going with a chartreuse smm.
I hope the smm is the best choice for me. Going to be my first season hunting in Texas here, so i guess i'll have to find out.
still if anyone knows of any good public land, leases, or clubs in the dallas/fort worth area please tell me.
really appreciate the help guys.
