i can say that i did this year. cant wait. first time turkey hunter so want to shoot the big one and try to call it in myself.

Drawn? we have no draw in kansas
hopefully its the same drill as last year, kill the first one in the first hour of the season then take a few weeks off and let all the gomers have their fun, then come back and get my second in late season.

We dont have a draw either. We get free tags for five birds. I'm in Edgefield, SC. As a lot of you know its the headquarters for the NWTF.

I didn't get drawn for SE MN this year. :cry: But i did get my first Gobbler there last spring.

Got Picked in the DE lottery for the first time this year...will be my second turkey hunt but the first one with me as the shooter....i went with my grandfather a few years ago when he got Drawn, and basically just called with him cause i am pretty good on a Diaphram call and hes killer on the Slate and Box....but we ended up seeing a buncha hens....hopefully this year i can bag my first Gobbler.....need to pic up some more calls tho havent tried out all the new style diaphram calls the got out.........anyone got any advice as to what brands are killer right now ?

Im only 14 and im going for old tom number 3. First year was 20ga. last year was 12ga. This year is my bow. Only shot 2 turkeys but i love challange, but im bringing the shotgun along to!

from what ive heard the best thing to bow hunt them with is out of a blind......gonna try that myself too...as long as i can find some birds..
