Is this something revolutionary? A Marketing Gimmic at its finest? Or The hottest item on the market? Is the wad used really new technology?

I haven't seen it offered yet at web retailers as of last week.. It can be a ringer, I have shot steel that fast before and that was using an Oheler chony. What I like is the 2 piece wad system in the powder. B&P has fooled with this using there Gorden hulls and wads. This has been proven to create an even ignition so in colder weather might be a good thing. The one issue I see is your going to have to slow your guns down to keep with the speed, It could be helpful to younger shooters that haven't figured out leed just yet and some older ones to.

Wew! I wonder how damn hard those will kick in 3 1/2". I'm a little off though. I prefer the 1300 FPS loads because all of my skeet / sporting clay's loads are that velocity. That way I'm not messing with my leads when I switch to ducks.
I'm sure I'll still try a box for ****'s and giggle's ........and a headache.

Just wondering but, wad stripping chokes like the strait heat will probably not like the high speed will it-I would definitely have to pattern it before use in the field.

I was under the same impression that full chokes like the strait heat did not like real fast shells shot out of it

Guess we'll have to wait and get some patterning done when they come out. One would think that there may be an issue with the speed but maybey that new wad will help out. I shoot standard style choke's myself so it would'nt be an issue for me. I cant see me getting away from Hevi-Metal. But I'll still give'em a go. They would make an awesome early season teal load.

I always liked the high speed stuff over decoys. I got better penetration with steel shot over decoys. Once the shots get farther out it doesnt matter as much i dont think. The only problem i had when i used to load some high speed alliant powder recipes over 1700 fps was keeping my pattern together. This is a factory load with a different wad ,so hopefully it patterns decent. Sounds like a good load.
