GHG or FA decoy full bodies

What is your guys thoughts between the 2? I like them both but the down side to the FA ares lack of head positions and able to get motion. They are a little heavier than the GHG but the paint holds up better. GHG look great and have bagged more birds when using them in the late season. But pounded the geese with the late warm up on water with the FA floaters.

Im With Duck Squad....GHG is my choice....but i usually wont buy them unless they are on sale......bargin hunting is another one of my favorite sprots....

no, its not hard some time you miss if you trying to set up in a hurry but there not hard to put together and in my opinion even if it was hard the motion itself would be wirth it

Well i guess im the oddball out of everyone because all we use are FA decoys. We do use GHG shells though because they are the bomb. I have to say the FA full bodies though!

I keep hearing rumors of these 2007 fa brand decoys being the bomb. Anyone know the details on the new decoys and an estimated release date?

Id thought I would wiegh in on this after todays terrible hunt.

Have 2 dozen of the original FA full bodies, paint seemed to chip real easy and one of the looker heads came apart. We take an extreme level of care to our decoys that leaves our anus to be a vortex, so I cant really say it was our mishandling. However we were also using Avery's Elite series and even fully flocked they held up nicely.

i have the two year old GHG and the paint isnt the best on them how are the new ones paint jobs? like the 06 modles i think mine are the 05 ones

Yeah I have all of them know and my FA paint comes off in big chips....the heads also pop off if you grab them to pick them up by the head a little to easy....mine are trailer and well cared for none of my GHGs chip and ar 2 seasons older and my bigfoots are 3 seasons older and look brand new. I lokie the looks of the FA's much better than the Bigfoots though and abou the same as the hunter series GHG.....my GHG FFD elites are in their own league though....$139 a half dozen! incredible! drop down the motion bases...set on the deke and watch them wiggle!

If I had the money I would get Davidsmithdecoys. They are the nicest ive ever seen yet but the price tag is big on them too. They truly look real. GHG would be next, FA would be next, and last but not least Big Foots. Just my opinion. :D :D

We have a dozen FA's and have used them for one season.I'm not that impressed with them.They seem to tip easy in the wind,are heavy,the heads fall off easily and the paint doesn't hold up the best.We sock all of our decoys heads and keep them on shelves in a trailer so their not being rough handled.We have six dozen GHG's and are planning to get more.Some of them are 04's,05's and 06's and they all still look great.I preffer the newer darker paint schemes but the older ones still work fine.I'd go with the GHG's anyday.I personally think they look alot better too.

GHG, Protect them and they will look great. In my opinion they have a better motion system than FA. But I am looking foreward to the new line of gear coming out.
