Soundfiles....(updated 2 new)

Was sitting here bored had the Cam with me, and no one home....so i figured i would play around with the calls a little bit...thought id post them up and see whatcha think....this is not a contest routine...its me being real rusty playing around on a couple calls the first one is my MH, and the second is my DMM.....i have more of me on 2 different SMHs, but they were taking forever to upload....ill add them later...

If anyone else has soundfiles they want to add to this...i know a couple of you guys out there got them.....not looking for routines just playing around enjoying the skill of calling........check these out give me some feedback........lemme know what you think.......dont worry they are short......oh and since i recorded them with my camcorder i left the lens closed....figured no one wanted to see my ugly mug...lol so dont expect to see anything in the picture its just sound...

Honestly after listening to the dmm file a couple times....i have no idea where that rolling chuckle came from......i think thats the first and the best one ive ever done....ive been sitting here for an hour trying to do it again lol i keep messin it up lol.....

I recorded them on my camcorder with the shutter closed....then uploaded them as videos to their own photobucket.com account....

Hey Rush !!! thanx for makin me sound like poop. !!! lol .....just kiddin good sounds man........can i critique ( i think i spelled that wrong) u a little on the goose call....even tho it did sound way better then mine...nothing negative tho.....one thing i do is change my hand possition A LOT....on different notes...instead of just closing and opening the call, i try to make the cup of my hand wider and shorter on different notes, and realllllly choke the call up on my laydown work........i mean dont get me wrong you sounded awesome !!!.....just a little advice....take it or leave it lol.....



looks like i started something here....come on guys lets here some more....

i will be recording more tomorrow hopefully....i guess ill have to put my ugly mug in the next set...

You ain't gonna hurt my feelings any. I know I'm not a pro caller, I'm just a hunter. I thought it was neat that you put a soundfile on here and think everyone else should too. How else can you get better if people don't listen too ya and help ya out. I've only been using a short reed for two years and still have a lot to learn.

this month ive had my SMH for one year.....and only seriously been getting good on it since around July...and really got better once i got on here.......but you know.....just something i learned personally from messing around....trying to figure out how Foiles Does half the sounds he does on any of these....im going to retune my calls tomorrow...and post up some more if i can get some time alone in the house....

Alright cool. How do you get them from the video cam to photobucket?? I have to check if I have the cord..

I bought Sony Vegas, Video and DVD editing software, thats how i get them saved on the comp...but most Windows XP comps that have a DVD player or burner come with some DVD/Video software.....as long as you got something that allows you to save it to your HD your golden....

Now on photobucket.....just as you would upload a pic...if you notice where you add the pic and upload, it says " upload a picture or video " you have to click on video before you add the file.....all videos combined or just one video you can only have 5 mins worth....photobucket will automatically edit if not......i hope you have DSL or cable cause i have DSL and it still takes a little while somewhere around 20 mins or so to upload a 2 min video......but once you get it uploaded onto photo bucket you just copy and paste the IMG tag just as you would a photo.......

PS if you dont have the cord, you can pick one up for around 30$ at any bestbuy, circutcity, or anyother comp store...just dont go to walmart your wasteing a trip lol.....what kind of cam do you have ?

all PC's that are relatively new have the program 'Window's Movie Maker' this has a video capture device.. Start -> programs -> accessories ->entertainment ->windows movie maker

hope this helps.. i havent tried it myself, but i have used the program for school projects. after u upload it saves as a windows media file

Thanx.....had to take the old guts i had in it out......couldnt get them to stop stickin.......oh well they will stay locked up in the MH...sound better in there anyway....put the new guts back in and Presto...so ill wear them in fast dont you worry....
