i have a benelli super nova now but am thinking about getting either a super black eagle or the berreta which is better i know everyone has there opinion but just want to c what u think only about those 2 thanks

Both equally guns as far as reliability. My dad has an Xtrema 2 I got the SBE 2. You will feel more recoil in the SBE 2 compared to Xtrema with the Benelli being enertia driven compared to gas. The BEST thing you can do is try to shoot both guns, worst case at least shoulder both guns in a store. Also, Beretta has safety infront of trigger as the Benelli is behind, probably not a big deal but it WAS something I took into consideration coming off shooting an 870.

They are both great guns but my personal preference is the Beretta Xtrema 2. It is "fatter" feeling if that makes sense and seems to fit me better. It is all about which gun fits you better and you will not go wrong with either. Good luck with your decision!

I agfree with "IL hntr" the Xtrema 2 is alot smoother as well

I'm a huge xtrema2 fan. I have both guns you're considering, and have come to the point where I always grab the Beretta. IMO, the Benelli feels a little better in the store (streamlined, weight, etc), but the beretta shoulders, swings and functions a lot better for me and has gotten to the point where it feels better than the Benelli

I'll be getting my new SBE II Monday. Sold an SP-10, a Remington 887, and have some cash in the slush fund. Can't wait....
I also plan on getting a Black Cloud choke tube for the Benelli.

A 3.5" chamber is a solution to a nonexistent problem; even though I own an Extrema 2.
