For in the snow or for snow geese?
In the snow I like to put out more of resters / sleepers. This is when we put out more shells. The colder it is the tighter I make the spread as far as how close I keep my decoys. Probably the most important thing to remember when setting up your spread in the snow is maintaining it. Make sure to clean any accumulated snow or ice off of your decoys, it doesn't look right and will flair birds big time. As far as snow geese go, if that is what your asking about, I would refer you to Scott Curtsinger or one of the other guys that chase them down a lot more. I personaly don't have enough experience strictly hunting snow geese, to comment, other than it seems bigger spreads are better. Hope I helped some, if you have any specific questions feel free to ask, or send me a PM and I will send you my number and we can talk about it over the phone.

i have to agree with max4gooser he nailed it on the head for what we do also. resters and a few feeders is the way to go.
