Call Collectors Question

I have some Foiles calls that I have been collecting which I have proudly displayed in our family room. We had an ad in the paper to sell a dinning room table and chairs. A guy came over today to look at the table and chairs. He didnt buy it but did comment on the "real nice collection of calls" that I have. In fact he said it a few times. After he left, it got me to thinking about maybe someone breaking in to steal them (plus whatever else). Maybe even just talk going around saying that somebody has some real nice calls, could get some scum bag to start thinking. Do any of you collectors display your calls? Am I just being over cautious wanting to put them away in a safe place? I do have a 12 gauge to welcome any intruder into the house, but when Im not home....... Just curious what you guys do with your collection?

I've thaught about that also but sometimes you just take chances. I guess I look at it as, if someone were to break into my house I have a lot of other items the average burgler would think about first. I do have a vault that I have my guns and other important items in though. Sometimes you just take a chance to enjpy the fruits of your labor.

do make sure you have all the numbers wrote down somewhere and pics also. Just in case. It would make it easier on you when dealing with insurance companies. They are sometimes like thieves also.

i dont display anything in a room where they can b viewed by someone commin in the front door or main enterance , how ever a back room or room where the known guest will b i have them on display !!!!!!!!!

as far as the fellow commenting on ur calls { i may b paranoid } but i think i'd take them down for awhile !!!!!!!!!! just me though

Yea, all mine are out, and if thats what they take if they break in and not everything else, not to sure what they are thinking. Like you if someone did break in I will get a chane to use my Taurus Judge :-). Although I would rather have them take the TV and what not, rather than the calls as it would be easier to replace a TV.
