Okay boys, these are from a day down at Derek's dads place. Derek and I were covered in 'em. I wish I wouldn't have tripled on the first flock  to make the hunt last longer. BTW, the quality isn't that good because these videos were taken with my regular digital camera. The hat cam is gonna awesome this spring and fall.

Here is the results of the hunt, probably seen this pic already.

Here is a video of after I was shot out and Derek had one more to get. They don't look as close as they were by the way. Most of them were at 15-20 yards on the first pass.....I coulda smacked that hen with my gun barrel. LOL. Excuse the language...Derek was being picky about his shots. That's him on the call by the way.

Here's a pic of Derek smaacking his last greenhead. Hit the bird all 3 shots, I think it was dead after the 2nd shot DEREK!

This was after we had out 8 greenheads....had them almost touching down. About 50 actually did, but they landed behind us. Derek's on the goose call and that's me on my double-reed TR. We were goose calling to them some because we had mostly goose decoys out w/12 GHG mallards. Oh and we had a bird in the dekes, thats what me and Derek were saying to eachother.

Dude there were seriously no drakes in front, it was kinda bad. I just wanted to hit that sucker all three times, it was our last bird so I had to unload that last shell somehow.

Thats some great footage, fun to look at in this offseason. I was also wondering where you find a hat/gun camera.

Buffslayer, I just got a Sony 520res. hat/gun cam. Its pretty hadass. It come with a deal that holds the cam in place. Im going to screw it through the bill of one of my other camo hats and just leave it on there and put the whole thing in my blind bag whenever I go.

Wow, those things are a little more spendy then i thought they were, i just bought a new camcorder i guess it will be awhile till i can purchase a hat cam. Hey killer, if you don't mind saying, how much did you pay for yours?

Buff, once it warms up here in Iowa I plan on shooting skeet with the cam, I'm thinking 1 round with it mounted on the gun and 1 with it on my hat. Both perfect 25's!!! Nah, but prolly a couple 22's or 23's.

Tyler..

you seen the vid clips of me and my boys shooting sporting clays right.....not a hat cam....but still came out pretty cool....

Killer Miller
02-12-2007, 10:32 PM
Yeah I saw that. It's pretty cool. I need to get out before snow goose season to see how the lense that came with it is....too zoomed in or not enough. Because I wanna have several different lenses.

-If they're just eating up the program, I'll put a wide angled one and maybe catch some of the other boys dropping them too
-If we're shooting 'em at Patternmast range  I want a zoomed in lense in
