Teal

Just wondering if anyone has seen any teal on the move, I sat and watch the lease last night and only seen 12, I have seen about 12 all summer out there. But I seen a couple of flocks hitting a corn field the other day.

I got up a group of about 15 wednesday along with 6 honkers

I saw 6 fly over the house this evening. About 75 honkers too.

just startin to really see the geese .... we shoot more teal on our duck opener in october then we do in our early season { hardly any at all in the early season }

doves are everywhere I put out 250 pounds of bait earlier this year, and built a 50' x 50' pond thats full of salt water. If we dont shoot 100 birds on the opener I will be upset. teal are scarce yet but picking up. Last year they were everywhere this time of year, then the opener we only shot 2. the day before the sea...son there was 75 in our decoys so i think the migration is gonna be perfect timing with the season. The geese are spotty and unpredictible. One day we seen 150 the next they are gone. The only corn field holding any good amount of birds has a blind in the middle of it. But we have a field open and anyday now the geese will find it.
