The longest Limit

I thought some of you might enjoy this. Went out Sunday morning with my dad, my roomate, his dad, and one of his buddies. So we get out to the field at about 8, to our dissmay/pleasure it was foggy as hell. We figured as soon as the fog lifted it would be a slaughter. Well 12pm....yes noon, the birds started to fly. Lets just say it was a long couple of hours of sitting in the pit. Shot 13 of our geese by 1:00. So we were all pumped thinking we could get home in time for the super bowl. Next thing you know we have 2 geese comin in on the deck.....bang...bang...whiff. S@$T...2 hours later we finish our limit. It was a fun day regardless. But the one thing that pissed me off is I woke up at 5:30am for an afternoon hunt.

that happened to me a week befor our season ended it was the coldest day of the year and i didint shoot a bird until 1 o'clock.

nice job luke :D when does your season end? we have been done for a couple months now :x


We go till Feb 18th. We have been shooting the hell out or em lately. Its almost become not if we get a limit but when. Last week we were done by 8:30. The last 2 weeks should be really fun.

Luke, Im flyin' back out this weekend!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Got my video camera for my gun cam so we're good to go now. This fall should be awesome with that thing. I hope to get some really cool videos. As soon as it warms up, I'm taking the cam to the skeet range to see how the lense works. I may want to get a few more lenses for it, ones with more or less zoom.

that happens everytime i go duck hunting, sunrise to sunset. at least you ended it with a limit.
