Was planning a trip to NoDak this year but things are kind of falling through with our group. I haven't been to Iowa and don't know much about it. From your pics(not just dead birds) there seems to be quite bit of waterfowl out there. Is it expensive for out of staters? I've got a cousin who got transferred to Iowa last year for his job. Think he works in Human Resources for Jimmy Dean or somethin. Anyway been thinkin about goin out and visiting him if it's worth it. Has to be better than here but that's not hard.

im pretty sure im speaking for the whole crew. come on out and we will try to kill some stuff. it seems like everyone here are deer hunters and they over look the waterfowl part of hunting.

Don't know if I'll actually get out there just wondered what it was like. You guys seem to shoot a lot better lookin ducks than we do in NoDak and a lot more mallards. I'd hate to impose on you guys cause I don't have much to offer in return. City limits signs keep gettin farther and farther outta the city and people are startin to lease up our waterfowl spots for deer huntin. Got any infor for an outta stater if they were to come out there?

i cant tell you why our ducks look better. it must be cause if the great iowa corn they eat. we didnt really field hunt mallards until this year also.
