Just mallards or other species as well? My preference at this time for duck decoys is GHG. They are extremely durable and you can't beat the price.

check out the drake double duty, they are a little light colored but still look pretty realistic.

GHG. Best floaters on the market in my opinion. The Pro-Grades are awesome.

Extremely durable???? Please tell me you're kidding. Don't get me wrong, GHG's are a dang good decoy for the money (all of what I own are GHG's) but as far as durable they leave quite a bit to be desired. For realism, absolutely top-notch (although the older hen models, non pro-grades are a bit light for my liking) and for the price are about as good as you can get IMO.

I would say if you are looking for a long lasting durable decoy you can't beat G and H decoys. They cost alittle more but they will last you for years upon years. In my opinion they are to duck decoys what Bigfoot is to goose decoys!

Nope I am not kidding one bit. 5 seasons and still going tough, no paint issues. I did hot glue those removable keels though.

paint scuffs off on ghg pretty easily but ive heard paint issues with practically every brand. gonna try FA this year and see how they do also. G&H are very durable but dont have the realism that FA or GHG do, which is why its all a trade off IMO.

flambeau seem to work pretty darn good for me! GHG worked great for geese to.

I agree on the durability of GHG, they must have gone through a bad batch at one point or another, we have been using the same hot buys for 5 years now, in and out of bags all season and they look great, no paint issues of any kind. This is what makes me think they had a bad batch come through at one point.

I run all GHG but the new Dakota floaters look pretty awsome. Hard to beat the flocked heads.

100% BLUE COLLAR DECOYS one of the only decoy companies in the U.S. to repaint your decoys. They are 100% american made products. I gurantee you will not be disappointed!

I did one of these before but could not find it so here we go.......

Dakota-Fixed the paint on the hens...much better. Very realistic and tough as nails. The flocked drakes are awsome looking and the flocking holds up pretty good. As with anything flocked, if you take care of it it will last longer. A little on the pricey side but if you run a small spread they are worth it.

GHG-Also very realistic. Not as much detail as the Dakota's but still very realistic, most of that is for the hunter anyways. Paint holds up pretty well and they are all fixed keel now so no more loosing a keel when you throw them out. Pretty well priced and I don't think there is a duck they don't make a decoy for. Best value for what you get IMO.

G&H-Very durable! Like said earlier they are the Bigfoot of duck decoys. Not so detailed and they have not changed much in the last 25 years or so. They are more expensive than most but you can throw them in the boat with no bags, step on them, kick them, let all the water that your dog brought in the boat freeze on them and they won't loose their paint.

Flambeau-I have not used the new ones but what I had the paint all chipped off and they looked like cartoon charactors. Pretty cheap on the price but they are kind of like riding mopeds and fat chicks...enough said.

Bigfoot-Paint did not last too long but we were rough on them, no bags just thrown in the boat day in and day out. Pretty realistic but not near the GHG or Dakotas. Not too bad on the price but more than the GHG.

That is all I can think that we have right now. I have not used the FA decoys so someone else might want to speak up on them. Hope this helps and if you have any questions let me know.

I just started using the GHG Fullbodies this year in the early season and had awesome results. We had mallards walking around in the decoys 4 feet in front of our SUB's for about 20 minutes till the next wave of teal came in. Had no idea we were there!!!

We run GHG and G&H mostly. GHG look better in my opinion but u cant beat the durability of G&H. We have some G&H that are 10 years old that the paint is still better than the decoys we just bought the year before. And trust me we are probably worse on our decoys than anybody but the GHGs dont hold up too bad either.
