Ok boys, I want to try snowgoose hunting this spring and I'm thinking about a call. Is the Tundra Saver pretty good? I want alot of in-put because its an expensive snow goose call.

You're a staffer for Foiles and you've never blown a TS? COme on pull ur head out! JK. But yeah my uncle and Derek both have Tundra Savers and they really are awesome calls. If there were snows around here for more than about 3 weeks a year, I'd probably have myself one. Derek will probably give you the details on the call as soon as he sees this post. As for me, I haven't blown it enought to get into any detail.

well ya see i think the state of utah averages like 10 snows killed per year haha...and when i go to canada i dont even bother with them...they are just a pain in the a$$ and we still end up killin a bunch just because the SMH is so damn amazing they cant stand not takin a closer look...otherwise i would have one but after i get a couple more calls i'll buy a tundra saver

Yea the Tundra Saver is a sweet Snow call. It is LOUD, probably the loudest call that I have ever heard. Definitely the best snow call on the market.

Thanks for the in-put. Do you think it is worth it seeing as MN doesn't get that many snowgeese here? I'm going to try our Spring season but we don't have a big amount of snows as far as I know.

if u can use an electic call i would use one. thats what i have and they seem to work good and also save your breath  but i mean we dont get too many and around here they are hard to decoy.

what type of calls do you use on the TS?? Like what does the hail, cluck, moan, growl sound like? Is that all of the sounds on callin' geese 2.0?? I have it so should I just review that?

The E-caller is great but when the geese get in close you can kill them with the tundra saver. Our snow season in Iowa varies year to year. I had the chance to buy a new one cheap so I jumped on it. Calling Geese 2.0 covers everything.

i love the ts, it is the best snow call i have used , and i have tried several,as for buying one just to spring hunt in mn i would have to say dont do it, we dont have many snows here, but if you plan to chase them in the dakotas then i would buy one,

I have a TS, and really like it as well. It is the easiest best sounding Snow Goose call I have used, I don't hunt snows all that often, but I like to keep it in my blind bag as a just incase call, this year in central Illinois we saw a ton of Snows and Specks all year, so I did use it a bit. I guess if next year is like this year, I will have to get me a Strait Meat Speck :D

It is awesome. I use mine when we go up and hunt the snows in our State. Works great on the small groups of birds.
Use a HA HA call. Best way I can discribe it.
