Whats and 870 worth?

I have a 2 year old 870 Super Mag and was wondering what I should ask for it. Gotta sell this to save for a new auto.

you could probably trade up to an auto loader. thats what I did, took it with me when I bought my benelli and they traded my beretta and some cash. Its hard to tell you exactly what it is worth without seeing it. There are alot of factors that go into play when pricing a used gun, just like pricing a used car or truck.

I work at a gun store. Sell the gun to a friend, or put it in the area trading post. You will get more money that way. Also which auto are you looking for. The stoger M2000 is a killer sweet gun if you are on a budget. Other wise I would say BERETTA

The only thing that i'm worried about is that the SBE 2 isn't going to cycle light shells because I rabbit hunt and pheasant. My cousin has an M2 and swears by it but when I shoot it I can't hit the broud side of a barn. I also have a Supernova and I can't miss with that. Shims and everything are the same.

Light loads= NO PROBLEMS
When I got my SBE2 I took it out of the box and headed to the skeet range, cycled every shell new out of the box.

2 year old 870 SM? Is it in good shape? If it is you could probably get about $250 considering new ones go for around $300.
