What is the best way to store your waders during the off-season?

I use a wader hanger deal I got at Cabela's. It holds the waders by the boots (upside down) and hangs right in my hunting closet! That hanger cost me like $15.00.

Coat your boots with an armor all type product, and hang them up.

MAKE SURE THEY ARE COMPLETELY DRY if you fold them!!!!

Hang them upside down in a cool, dry, and dark place(atleast don't put them were the sun can get to them. Clean them up good before hand, and like Mark said use armor all.

yeah hang em till they're dry and I fold mine up and put them in a big rubber made tote in a closet in the garage, this way I know exactly where they are and they are protected from whatever my dad throws in the closet.

I put mine on the boot dryer until they are completely dry then fold them up and put them away. Never tried the armor all trick. I've got Cabela's 1600 gram Armor Flex now and have never treated them. What exactly is the armor all supposed to do for neoprene? Just curious. I'll try just about anything to keep waders longer.

The armour all only goes on the boots....it prevents dry rot of the boots. DO NOT put armour all on the neoprene.

I didn't think it sounded right puting armor all on neoprene. Thanks.

We makeshifted a wader rack in our closet. We took a shelf and cut out 4 slits and slid the waders into the slits and put the shelf back. Its the perfect hight. May not lood the best but it works perfectly.

Be careful folding neopreme or even rubber waders. They will dryrot and crack at the fold very easily.

That is EXACTLY why I said to MAKE SURE THEY ARE COMPLETELY DRY before you do that!!!! If they are completely dry, there shouldn't be a problem. But even with a tiny bit of moisture....you now have HOLY, or should I say HOLEY waders!!!!

Mark hit the nail on the head, the Armorall thing works very well, then I hang mine upside down in the closet.

I agree if they are dry you can fold them. Never hurt mine or my old mans. Knock on wood.

Dont forget to check 'em for spiders when you pull them back out. Jeff got bit by a recluse this year that was nested up inhis waders. It wasnt pretty.
