I have never shot a goose but that is what I will be going after mainly this coming season so thats what I put. Who would ever choose coots they are basically water chickens to me.

Im gonna be the ice breaker and say puddle ducks woodies mallards and all them are just outright BEAUTIFUL and with puddlers yu can shoot more than 2 things

there's more and faster action. you can also shoot more than geese which makes it fun, but i still enjoy chasing the geese.. just have to be patient.

While i like killin the big old honkers, im gunna have to go with mallards are my favorite to kill. We pilled up a lot of them this year and had a blast doin it.

Teal, I love TEAL. The sounds their wings make at first light as they fly in out of no where and are 4 foot over your head. They are like little fighter jets giving the tower the flyby... I love 'em!

Geese All the way. Fat mallards are fun to shoot but nothing compares to a in your face goose hunt.

For me it has got to be divers!!!!! fast and bold and yes I will admit they are not the smartest but the sound of bills cupped up dropping strait in the whistle on the pinions sends chills up my spine!!!!!

Are you serious? I don't know much about divers but from what I've seen they are dumb. The three drake ringnecks in my avatar all came from the same flock. Which some how landed in the decoys on three seperate occasions. Otherwise I wouldn't have a picture of three drake ringnecks. Those things can move! It does look like it would be fun to do a layout boat hunt sometime, but calling those geese and bringin into your face can't be beat in my opinion.

Well i am all for divers but i dont think they are the smartest, sorry jayson. THey might be some of the hardest shooting birds since they fly right off the water at 40 mph and sneak up on you with no notice.

Richie, never hunted sea ducks but i would love too. h2o waterfowler i love teal too. i think gadwall are some smart a$$ birds, at least when i had big flocks working my deeks. I love it all! Puddlers, geese, divers, they all give me a thrill!
