My guess is that i have no chance of finding any info on this topic, but i am transfering to SUNY Cobleskill near albany, NY next year and i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of any good waterfowl hunting around there, or if anyone has hunted near there before. Hopefully, someone has because i wouldn't want to miss most of the season because of nothing to hunt. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, i know thats a shot in the dark for someone hunting around there.

The only advice I have for you is get on some other forums. I don't believe there are many New York residents on this forum. Get on flocknockers.com or refugeforums.com There are a ton of people on these 2 forums...several thousand on each. I'm sure there are people on there will to help ya out and you may even find a few hunting buddies.

Wrong end of NY my man....check out the forum mentioned above as they will probably be your best bet.

Another forum to check out is www.stormoutfitters.com/forum

They are based out of NJ...but there are a lot of guys from NY, PA, VA, MD, DE, and NJ on that forum.

One other place to check would be www.greatlakeswaterfowler.com.

I wish I could be of more help...but I am not familiar with that area of NY. I hunt mostly the southern tier, and sometimes up around the refuges on the western side of NY.
