Well I have allways liked avery's stuff, and was planning to buy a Finisher, but called them today about a coule of warranty issues, one IS the zipper pull on my max 4 expandible guide bag, pulled right off, ruining the bag, it is 2 months old. called Avery this morning about gettoing it re4paired, and they refused to warranty it. Also had a seam comeundone on my floating blind bag that I bought from Mac's back in September, and they recommended I take it to a seamstress and have it fixed, at my own expense. I told them thanks for the help, I will just buy FA. I had allways heard good things about their Customer Service but they failed me miserably today on two seperate items.

Jeff, I hope you have the new FA guidebags with your logo in Max-4 ion time for the waterfowl weekend. I will take one of them and a sidekick.

That definately is a bad deal. I know that Final Approach makes a quality product that I have never had trouble with. I have had my Foiles blind bag since Jeff's last stint w/ FA and it has held up beautifully. I have shoved that thing so full of stuff I though the zippers would explode..and not a problem! The new gear will definately be up to the toughest waterfowlin' conditions!!

I can't find my receipt for the guide bag, and on the blind bag they said it would be cheaper to fix at a local seamstress, but it would further void the warranty, but I shouldn't need the warranty anymore anyways. Oh well I will replace all of my Avery gear with either FA or Drake. Might have a lot of Max-4 Avery stuff hitting the ebay market soon. :wink:

Yeah, definately lookin' forward to the new Foiles Signature stuff from FA. And for Avery, you only get one chance to make a first impression, Kerri, wasn't even friendly or appoligetic about it. :evil:

I had the same thing with Greenhead Gear (Avery). I told them they need to correct the problem with the goose floater heads cracking on the seam. I think they should replace them. They want a copy of the reciept. Who keeps a reciept for everything they buy!! I have no reciept and they said sorry, BUT we sell replacement heads. I bet they sell lots of those!! I like my old bigfoot floaters amyway, they are virtually industructable!! Just my 2 sense.
