Ted Shanks Refuge hunt.

I was wondering if anyone has hunted here in MO. What are the good numbers to go to?

Yeah i hunt shanks and bk leach very often and live only 45 mins away from them but if you want to know where to go...go to missouri department of conservation and all the public areas post bird numbers and kill rates

Ive never hunted there, but have hunted across the salt river from it. Opening weekend, on Sunday they killed 450 ducks there averaging out to 5 ducks per person....

I hunt there a few times a year and they hold a good number of birds. I will tell you to always take a wade in shoot area. The wade in area are near the river and hold most of the birds and do most of the shooting. There are about 10-12 good wade in areas on the property.The blinds hardly get any action and birds tend to stay away from the blinds for some reason.
