You can always improve on your calling. I believe that there isnt one person that is perfect on a goose call. Everybody always can learn something new. I do alot of calling in the off season to keep my lung capacity up to where it was at the end of the season. Pre season the blinds pits etc and decoys all get cleaned up.

I will be working on my contest routines and getting into that with the help of you guys. Training my dogs, 1 for upland and the other for waterfowl. Hopefully this year learn taxidermy. Oh and save money to go on all my trips.

calling is definately on the top but i heard if you use ace bungee anchor straps you're supposed to stack the decoys on shelves and take the bungee off and let it lay with the slack in and to make sure to give em a good rub down with armor all. another thing i'm doin is sandin up my guns and givin em a new layer of paint. also its a little late but make sure to look for waterfowlin stuff on sale; decoys, shells, etc.

Never stop calling on your calls. I have noticed that I am at the top of my calling when the season is at the end. This is because I've been at it hard for a few months straight. I personally hang my lanyard on my rearview mirror if it's not too cold.

I always practice calling! I try and put myself in situations I've been in and figure out what call notes I would try and do. ie flaring geese, finishing groans...stuff like that. Also try and shoot as much as possible

Call all summer long!!!! Wash all your decoys, I mean have you ever seen a Duck or Goose that is muddy? well at least until they are belly up in the mud after you have slaughterd um'. Clean out all of my blinds: spent shells, wrappers, pop cans, and caked on mud get sprayed out. Finally BUY MORE GEAR!

Calling, a little decoy maintenence and a lot of training with Scout. Now that I have a boat I plan to do quite a bit of retrieving work with him from the boat. I bought an Avery Double Duty Dog Platform for the boat.

I work on creating and improving exixting habitat on our farms. Millet, buckwheat, flooded corn, ect. But calling and keeping your dog fresh is important also. Finally, I watch all of the Fallin Skies DVDs every few weeks.
