i know everyone in here either has a couple Calls....or a crapload of calls...me im tilting more on the crapload side.....i would love to see everyones call collections....from the New Acrylic...to the old hand carved wood of past seasons.....i dont have any nice antiques yet cause im fairly new to the sport.....but i love all calls the same....well thats a lie i love foiles calls...but i have a respect for the ones that were getting the job done before i was born......lets see em boys...

LoL ok before i catch anymore $H!T.....the zink was free when i bought my blind i DID NOT spend money on it....and for the K&Hs, The Pit Magic was my first short reed, Molded worn in guts straight from Richie McKnights comp call....awesome awesome call....just no shaved reed and a retard gut system limits tuning...kind of a little harder call to blow, but all Acrylic, the T-lock Double Duck is also all Acrylic, and is one of the Duckiest calls i have in my bag...retails for 150$ from the K&H site, but cabelas sells them cheaper, but i got it for 15$ off ebay, same with the PitBoss...11$ on ebay, and the Bachelorette i got at walmart on clearance for 5$s, all before i bought my first Foiles call.....so you can imagine how much dust they have been collecting over the past year or so...lol

will do....but i wouldnt hold my breath...that MH i have been told is sorta a prototype....not in design but that they dipped the whole call which they dont do anymore...because the Foiles Migrators and the #rs on the band were laser etched into the Dip....so if you scratch the dip off the band is blank....was told this at Easton by one of the Avery Prostaffers that blows Foiles calls in comps...he said he had one like that and scratched all the dip off the band...hence why mine is being put up...lol and why i got the Ivory MH....to hunt with......


BTW.....i traded that Smoke SMH..........still got yours i see.....race won...lol.....j-k

i dont EVER want to see you complaining on this site ever again about not having enough money for decoys or a truck or anything else pertaining to hunting. if you bought one goose call and one duck call you could have takin the rest of the money you spent on calls and bought 3 dozen fullbodys!!! i know i know i know you have an addiction and i understand that, but whats more important 3 or 4 goose calls and 3 or 4 duck calls or having one of each and enough of your own decoys to not have to rely on your buddies. besides how many calls can you fit in your mouth at one time.

you know, your not the first and im sure not gonna be the last either, dont really have any complaints right now, sure i need a truck, all in good time, sure i need more decoys but who doesnt, got 3dzn decoys now, enough or not enough, ill let you decide that one, as for the calls i own..........dont really care what anyone thinks, i love em, i use them everyday, and i saved my hard earned money to buy them, or i traded calls for them, or i spent birthday or christmas money on them, no one has ever bought me a call, or given me a call, all were bought by me, also not all of them were bought at retail, just like my decoys, only of the FOILES calls i own were bought brand new....and my MH, MG, and my Showtime...the rest were yard sale, or ebay.....lemme break it down for you so you can understand better...

Showtime - New - 150 - (bought with state tax return)
MH Max4 - New - 160 - (Junked a Car to get it)
DMM - Used - 100$ - ( yard sale )
SMH - used - (traded a SMM new 4 it)
MH Ivory - Used - (traded first SMH 4 it, cost 100$s used ebay)

And as for complaining, i complain all in good fun, whats the sence in Whineing over something thats entirly my fault, yeah i could go out and drop a payment on a truck right now if i desired, i choose not to because i choose to eat every day, i choose to buy what i want when i want cause thats how i was raised, if i wanted it i bought it, i didnt get new clothes for school, new shoes, new anything, i got what i needed when i needed it, and as far as anything else was up to me,

now im 24 years old and i live with my girlfriend and her mother, why, because rent is cheap, would i lke to get out on my own, sure been there, would love to go back, been on my own bascially since i was 16, i bust my ass everyday 45-50hours a week working on other peoples nice cars, so that i can scrape a dime to get the things i want most in life, and yes theres stuff i need, i need waders and i need new boots, and i need a truck, and i need a better gun, and i need more decoys, and i need more calls. but whats the sence in buying all that right now to put in the basement till next season, yeah it will get used, but 8 months from now, well i guess you cant park a truck in the basement but you know what i mean... personally i take offence to other people that dont know me telling me what i need to do or where i need to SPEND MY MONEY....so
if theres any other smartass comments anyone else would like to make about how much money i spend on calls, or they feel that they need to tell me what i need to do with my money....feel free to comment.....just be prepared for the reprocussions of your actions....

Luke, I know........its crazy isnt it lol....whats even more crazy is i have 2 more maybe 4 on the way.....and i still dont have an HPH or a Cackler...lol........but i think about it like this, most of these are investments, or future yard sale, sales that might be something that will finish someone elses collections, i have doubles and tripples of some, and ill use them, mess with them practice with them get tired of them then sell them and get new ones lol......theres a method to the madness and when i figure it out ill let you know lol :D

RedLegg....haha no i wish, thats my Bolen....doesnt get much use, the drops on that lanyard are so freaking tight that once a call goes on them, it takes everything i got to get them back off, its going to be used on a dead mount that im going to have done next year, i cant find anywhere local to get Paracord, and the place where im ording it from online is closed till the 26th, so i cant order any for another week, but heres one i did last night that you might get a kick out of lol, i did it with decoy cord....

Justin....also go to a army surplus store thats where i got my paracord

I should have taken pics of the connection but i finished it at 1am last night so i was trying to get it done....ill try to explain.....i left about an inch or so of the cords loose at the top, so when i went to put it together i just put both of the braid ends together, with the loose ends in with the middle cords, and just kept tieing the knots, around the middle cords and the loose part that i left at the top, theres absolutly no knots that looped it together except for the knots that make the braid, understand....? if you look at a Bolen, and look at my Mini Cobra, they are pretty much similar to the way i did it....i hung my SMH from it last night and swung it around in circles to test the strength and it held very well....


and i looked in the phone book today at lunch for an army surplus and i couldnt find any, so i dunno what im gonna do till the 26th,....theres a couple surpluses i could order from online but they only sell 100foot+ rolls and i would rather save my $$ and get the colors i want...

Justin - I dunno if it would work, but if the cold is what made them slide like that it just might....might have to ask a higher athority on that one....but its better than melting them in the Oven lol......i was trying to think of a substance that would break down the glue and not harm the acrylic but i cant think of anything.....because at least that way you could get the bands off and reglue them where they need to be....well this is what i was thinking, if the calls get cold enough the acrylic might shrink and pull away from the bands, if it gets colder faster than the aluminum bands, and you might be able to just pull the band off....clean the glue up with some rubbing alcohol and re glue the bands one with some metal/plastic epoxy, or what i would use, i would use the type of epoxy that i use for glueing my inserts in my carbon arrows, cause that basically a meatal to plastic glue...but i would ask around first and see if theres an easier way to pull the bands off, but if you go the freezer route i would put just the barrels in there dont put the whole call in there i dont want to see pics of broken inserts lol......lemme know if you come up with anything...

I have a case I put 6 calls in. Dad made it out of oak with red velvet in it and a glass door. The Champs calls, the little wood duck call (made by a guy in New Zealand) the green pair (my kids engraved to him from Jeff) and the clear/black TR go in there.

Well boys....call me nuts, but i went to my local shop where i had a Blue/Clear MH on hold, walked in there was checkin through the box of Foiles Calls she had, and what did i Find, a Blue/Clear HPH #0249, so what happend next, the MH went back on the shelf and the HPH is now on hold till friday....took a lot of strength to not walk out of there right then with the call in my hands, but i held back, figured i might get another shot at some snows this week so i figured i would save some $$ and wait till Payday(Bonus Time).......but it will be MINE....OH YES...it will be mine....guys im actually down to 7 calls, well actually 9, but the All clear DMM is going out the door today to be replaced with a Blue/Clear SMM, the Max4 MG is up for grabs in the Goose contest if i get enough entries, and thats about it, so all together, damn i guess i will still have 9 when i pick up that HPH on Friday....oh well....still need a Cackler and a Tundra Saver.....i guess it will never end....oh yeah and a TR....might pick up another legend just for the hell of it but if i do it will be a wood legend cause the poly calls just dont do anything for me.....and ill have to stick an acrylic insert in it.....( if they dont come with one anyway, i cant remember)........

Thanks i was looking to get one off a younger member here that rarely gets on and he lives in my area, but i have been waiting for him to get up with me for over two months now on the call, so i said i would continue looking for one, i couldnt beat the price he quoted me, but at this point i will take what i can get, just let me know, i might have a SMM SR Blue/Clear up for trade in the near future, or i might just sell my Chartruse Showtime outright depending on how much money i need to come up with to get the Camera i want, but let me know regaurdless....if you ever do decide to get rid of it....
