I have both, shot the Remeington for years. Had the barrell split a year ago out goose hunting. Have no idea as to why it split. Sent it back to Remington and asked them if they had any ideas as to why it split. I have had this shotgun for over 10 years now. They sent me back a new barrell and had no idea as to why it split. I can say that Remeington backs its product 100%. And by the way, its the 870 express. While I was without a shotgun I found a damn good by on the super nova so I bought it. It shoots very well. I am sold on both!!! I wouldn't own an auto, seen way to many problems with them when we get down in the zero temperatures! I hunt with guys that own auto's and they cuss them big time when the temp drops out the bottom!

Took my SBE2 to Colorado with me. Hunted freezing temps everyday, in fact the last day the action was covered in snow and ice, not one hiccup the whole time.

My brother shoots the super x2 and he has less trouble with it than my buddy shooting the Benilli auto. But its like anything esle out their, different strokes for different folks!
