the ST is the softest foiles call
The TR isn't as soft as the ST but is a good call
The SMM is a louder call but can get soft
The DMM isn't as loud as the smm but is ultra realistic
All the foiles duck calls sound awesome it all depends on how the are if they are aggressive a louder call like the SMM is good
if the birds have been hunted for along time the DMM or TR are good choices

thanks for the info. right now ive just got a poly strait suzy ( splurged my call budget on a SMH!!) and this spot im huntin seems like the little suzy is too loud. i guess im lookin for a call that can do everything from the little wooded spot on the river to out in a field. im leanin towards the timber rattler if it can get loud when needed. id rather not have 5 or 6 calls hangin from my neck. 1 duck 1 goose and a whistle is what im aiming for.

Dead Meat Mallard is the one you want if you want a call that can do everything.

i am running a ST for my wooded pot hole and the ducks love it...then i also run a DMM for more open waters and fields. Those two calls in my opinion compliment each other very well. But is also depends on the land you hunt.
