I think its kinda funny all the muddy dog staffers out there that haven't even held a muddy dog lanyard before. How can you recomend them to everyone and tell people how great they are and most don't even have a clue. I have a www.muddydoglanyards.com and ya its nice but not any better than www.ducklanyards.com one. Not trying to piss anyone off here this is just my opinion.

i got mine yesterday and i'll post pics up soon...and i bet you've never seen a lanyard like it either...one difference between MDL and D&S is the MDL drops are removable and adjustable for whatever length you want them..there not set in stone...they are very easy to customize to your own settings

Hey guys I personally know from experience that the muddy dog is 2nd to none. As for my hunting buddies we have 11 of them between us. They are the best out their as far as we are concerned!!!!! If yo will look at my avatar you can see two of them hanging from my boys necks. The tallest one has 5 calls hanging from his lanyard!! If you need any assistance in getting a lanyard pm me. I have a real good realationship with Muddy Dog Lanyards. (he is my brother n law)

I never said anything against muddydog lanyards. All I said was I thought it was funny that most of the staff members have no experience with the lanyard and that still stands true. As you just posted your giving others opionions of the lanyard when you say how great they are.
As far as the integrity thing I didn't know FMI was associated with MDL as I thought Jeff had a Bolen himself?
Yes i'm sure you will be happy with your MDL like I said before I have one and like it I just prefer my Davey and sons if for no other reason than it seemed to me that he was more about makeing his customers happy.
Both my Davey and sons and MDL lanyard are the fat round all the way around type if that matters

I believe we have the best lanyards on the market today. Of course, I may be bias. However, we offer the little things that make the difference. First, we don't wrap the ends, we finish. Then, we have removeable and adjustable drops. You get to choose how long or short your drops are. You are the best judge of that. And, how many calls do you have? Do you want a lanyard for geese and one for ducks? Take off or add drops as you like. Get extra drops for your calls and create a whole new lanyard. I'm serious when I say, I've thought this out. I'm a hardcore wingshooter too and couldn't find a lanyard that I thought was good enough for my high dollar calls. That's why we started braiding.

Just thought I'd clarify.

to my knowledge FMI is not associated with muddy dog. myself and a few of the other staffers just came on board by word of mouth. jeff AKA ***elry crew just got his. so heres my thoughts, if i believe in a product such as foiles who i am assoicated with, and another person who has the same association with tells me a product is great. hence then i believe them by there word. i know you were not bashing muddy dog.

its all cool brother........no worries

I to am going to post on this topic, not to start any arguments, just to throw my opinion out there same as the rest of you, yeah my Signature says Muddy Dog Lanyards Prostaff, yeah i have never held on in my hands, and yeah i am giving other peoples opinions on them, but theres always a but, the peoples whos opinions i am giving are the same guys that answer your questions in Ask The Prostaff, the Very Man that runs this Forum, and many others out there that have had them for Years and never had an issue with them, i was given a garuntee about the muddydog i ordered by someone not affiliated with them at all, and by someone whos opinion and word i trust fully !!, as far as my own knowledge i will be giving everyone my opinions after i have gotten mine in my hands hung my calls from it, worn it around my neck, and hunted it in the field, but i can say one thing, their customer service is top notch, but you must understand they are a Very Small Company, and they were swarmed with orders when they joined this forum, the shear # of orders they got im sure was very unexpected, i cannot Speak for Jason or Jim, but i know they do everthing they can to make sure their customers are very satisfied, if its any consolation, i havent even gotten mine and i can swear by their company just by their customer service, whats a great product without the great people backing the product, all i can say is get one for yourself, if you dont like it fine, if you love it, then all of what we are saying is true, im not going to try to push you to buy a muddy dog, but i know that there are really great people backing this company up 100% and im just glad that i get to be a part of this, as the company grows and expands, i dont think FMI would be where it is, if it didnt make such a great product, have the best customer service, and have the Best people backing them up,.......like i said before....its the people behind the scenes that make a great product just that....a great product.....

Thanks........

Jason is building me a Custom Fat Round, 5 Drop, Dog Whistle Drop, Black&Grey, and i got a Game Tote to Match, Game totes are in the testing Fase...will be more infomation on them as next years season commences, but all i can tell you is i cant wait, had some issues with another lanyard i have, which will remain nameless....great lanyard, just had it come completely apart on me twice this season, and i seriously dont hunt that hard, im a weekend warrior, and the few times i actually got time offa werk to hunt this year, did serious damage to that lanyard, so im looking forward to getting one thats worthy of getting beat up, and i will be switching proffesions over the summer to allow me to take the entire hunting season well waterfowl season off next year......so im looking forward to doing some serious hunting for the first time in my huinting career...........if you have anyother questions please dont be afraid to ask.....

Hey guys I know for a fact that they are slammed with orders. I have offered my service to help Jason make lanyards, he is getting really swamped. I will be seeing him friday night. My son also has helped him out in the past. So if you guys keep ordering then I will have to help him out! And guys, HE IS A FULL TIME EMPLOYED WORKER!!! he builds the lanyards in his spare time. So please be patient with your orders!!!!

Hunters Ridge, the cobra braid is nice. Did you have him make it the same width as your HS? I believe the MDL uses 2 strings in the middle vs the 3 in the hs.

Dropem, if you have any question on the MDL lanyard let me know since I do have one.

10-4 same width, and some changes to fit my style. almost the same color .......go figure......i like the color of my HS. i would have had them make it wider but when you put the warm stuff on it would be uncomfotable. but yeah i like the flat cobra braid esspecially in the early season when its warm, dont like something round diggin in my neck like previous laynards, my HS is finaly about shot after 5 seasons knots coming apart and so on.
